Linhart PR was delighted to host a roundtable discussion this morning with several Denver PR firm principals and Kathy Cripps, president of the Council of Public Relations Firms, a trade organization for our industry.

Based on similar roundtable discussions with firms nationwide, Kathy described reasons for optimism about the PR business in 2011, including how social media is making a positive impact. She noted that firms across the country are experiencing an uptick. Linhart PR is pleased to share that outlook for 2011, based on the growth we’ve seen this year.

As a group, firms are finding some economic challenges, but many are also experiencing success in helping clients use digital media strategically rather than as a tactic. Another bright spot Kathy noted is that Chief Marketing Officers and other decision-makers say PR is the key to marketers looking to build meaningful relationships with consumers. Amen!
