At Linhart PR, we’re proud to participate in professional organizations that support the growth and development of our industry, our firm and our people.  Our involvement ranges from speaking at industry events to volunteering on committees for the Public Relations Society of America to supporting fundraising events for the Denver Press Club, among others.

We also take on leadership roles in organizations we believe in.  In fact, Sharon Linhart was just named to the boards of two industry associations – the Council of PR Firms and Worldcom Public Relations Group.

The Council of PR Firms, which represents more than 100 of America’s leading public relations agencies, is focused on advancing the business of public relations by building the market and firms’ value as strategic business partners. Sharon is now among the 19 PR agency executives serving on the Council’s board of directors.  Our agency has been a member of the Council of PR Firms for eight years.

Worldcom Public Relations Group is the world’s leading partnership of independently owned public relations counseling firms, with 107 offices in 95 cities worldwide.  We joined Worldcom in 2007, giving us a global reach for our clients. Sharon is serving on the group’s 13-member Americas Region board and leading the committee responsible for coordinating annual membership meetings.  These leadership positions are just one of the ways we put our giving-back philosophy into action!
