Another day, another instance of wonderful recognition for our team, our client work and our culture, and for our fearless leader.
This afternoon, Sharon was honored as the Denver Business Journal Powerbook award winner for 2011 in the Media and Communications category. Powerbook recognition goes to “C-level executives who are Denver’s most
influential business leaders and who have been in the news in the past year.” And that certainly applies to Sharon and Linhart PR, since we’ve been recognized as Small PR Firm of the Year by PR News, a best small business workplace by Inc. Magazine and Winning Workplaces, one of the 5,000 fastest growing small companies by Inc. and a Colorado Biz top company of the year.
As usual, Sharon was in distinguished company. Other finalists in our category this year included William Dean Singleton, chairman of Media News Group and publisher of the Denver Post and Salt Lake Tribune; Mark Cornetta, president and general manager of KUSA/KTVD; and Rick Sterling, CEO of Boulder-based brand strategy firm Sterling Rice Group, to name just a few.
Sharon and other honorees will be profiled in the DBJ Powerbook special edition, on newsstands tomorrow.
We are proud of Sharon and our team, for helping to make Linhart PR a place that has received – and earned – so much recognition nationally, regionally and here in our hometown as we celebrate our 15th year. Here’s to many more.
