Friday marks the last day of voting for 5280 Magazine’s Top of the Town voting, an annual round-up of Denver’s best of the best: dining, diversions and dive bars alike.
The reasons to love Denver are endless, a fact not overlooked by our staff. About half of us on the Linhart PR team are Colorado natives, born with an innate love of the state and its capital city. The other about half of us are Denver transplants who just couldn’t resist the lure of 300 days of sunshine a year.
I won’t try to sway your votes, but 5280’s Top of the Town gives you an opportunity to take a stand on important issues, such as your favorite Bloody Mary (I vote for mine, but the Uptown Tavern’s aren’t bad), Athlete (can’t resist that Todd Helton and his manly beard), Bargain Bite (ahem, Chipotle, last year’s readers’ choice), Soup (Panera, also last year’s readers’ choice), Film Festival (have you heard of BIFF?), even Doggie Day Care.
