Adding insulation to your home will reduce heating and cooling bills, making it as comfortable and energy efficient as possible. But, did you know the actual installation job is just as important as the decision to add insulation to your home?
The annual “America’s Best Installer” competition, presented by Johns Manville and Insulate America, celebrates the people behind that important job. The competition brings together insulation installers from across the country to showcase how properly-installed insulation can positively impact home energy efficiency and indoor comfort.
For more than 10 years, Linhart PR has helped bring attention to and support the competition through media relations planning and outreach that raises awareness for the national contest and puts a spotlight on these dedicated contractors in their own hometowns. This year, 38 local installers showed off their skills to compete for the $10,000 prize.
The competition allows Johns Manville to recognize the hardworking installers who aren’t typically praised for their everyday work. Participants can also stake their claim as one of the best in the country at installing insulation. This year, Linhart PR conducted proactive outreach for all competitors in their hometown newspapers from Olathe, Kan., to Allentown, Pa., and in industry-specific trade media. We secured 27 stories, totaling more than 1.1 million impressions.
