Linhart Public Relations Named 2011 Denver Metro Chamber Small Business of the Year Finalist
DENVER, Colo., March 3, 2011 – Linhart Public Relations, a national public relations and corporate communications counseling firm based in Colorado, announced it has been selected as a finalist for the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce’s 2011 Small Business of the Year award. The award aims to recognize businesses that have a history of outstanding business practices in the Denver community, and honor the entrepreneurship, sustainability, productivity and effort put forth in a small business.

After submitting an application with answers to various questions about management philosophy and workplace practices, Linhart Public Relations was selected as one of three finalists for Small Business of the Year. Businesses recognized in this category must be:
- A for-profit venture
- Locally owned and privately held
- Profitable and/or demonstrating fiscal responsibility and adequate capitalization in the last fiscal year
- A company employing fewer than 100 employees
- In the business for a minimum of five successive years by current ownership
Additionally, Allonhill, which specializes in due diligence and credit risk management and is also a Linhart PR client, is a finalist in the Emerging Business category.
The winners will be announced at the chamber’s annual Business Awards Luncheon at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center on Wednesday, May 4.
