Linhart Public Relations receives national and state recognition for its business practices and growth

DENVER, Colo., Sept. 14, 2011 – Linhart Public Relations, a national public relations and corporate communications counseling firm based in Colorado, today announced it has been named the country’s Small Firm of the Year by industry publication PR News and a 2011 Top Company by ColoradoBiz magazine.
This is the first time Linhart PR won PR News’ Small Firm of the Year award, after being a finalist for the past three years. The award recognizes the nation’s top PR firm with annual income below $10 million. Linhart PR competed against five other finalists to receive the honor based on demonstrated client growth, retention, agency culture, creative campaigns, and financial success in the past year.
The winners were announced on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at the PR News Platinum PR Awards luncheon in New York City. Linhart PR was the only agency based in the Rocky Mountain region selected as a Firm of the Year winner or finalist in any category – large, mid-size or small.
The ColoradoBiz Top Company program was developed in 1986 to recognize Colorado-based companies that demonstrate exceptional community involvement, outstanding achievements and sustained financial performance in 12 industry categories. Linhart PR won the Top Company award in the Media/Advertising/PR category. ColoradoBiz announced the winners on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Seawell Grand Ballroom at The Denver Center for the Performing Arts. As winner, Linhart PR will be profiled in ColoradoBiz’s November 2011 issue.
