Rudi’s Organic Bakery Wins Two National Digital Marketing Awards
Linhart Public Relations and Vermillion Design + Interactive honored for digital communications campaigns with client Rudi’s Organic Bakery.
DENVER, Colo., Oct. 10, 2012 – Linhart Public Relations, a national public relations, digital media and corporate communications counseling firm based in Colorado, together with Vermillion Design + Interactive of Boulder, Colo., were honored for their digital marketing campaigns with client Rudi’s Organic Bakery at the annual PR News Digital PR Awards in New York City on Monday, Oct. 1.
During the awards ceremony, attended by organizations and individuals behind the most innovative and successful digital communications campaigns of the year, Rudi’s Organic was selected as the winner in the WOW! Campaign category for “Rudi’s Organic Bakery: Let’s Doodle Lunch Campaign.” Rudi’s Organic also received an honorable mention in the Digital Marketing Campaign – $100,000 and under category for its “Brighter Days Giveaway” campaign.

For the WOW! Award, which was given to the most innovative digital campaign, Linhart PR and partner Vermilion helped Rudi’s Organic launch Let’s Doodle Lunch, a program to inspire children’s creativity and make lunch time more fun. The campaign invited moms to upload their child’s artwork to receive a free customized sandwich box with the child’s design on the lid. Each design uploaded to Facebook was immediately viewable in a gallery, where other moms and families could view the submissions. The campaign created a community of proud parents, and resulted in more than doubling “Likes” to the Rudi’s Organic Facebook page and helped achieve awareness and sales goals for the brand.
For the “Brighter Days Giveaway,” Rudi’s Organic invited Facebook fans to live healthier and happier lives by launching a 30-day giveaway of prizes that inspire a fun and healthy lifestyle – like Gaiam yoga DVDs, a digital camera from Kodak or Rudi’s Organic products. Additionally, fans who “Liked” Rudi’s Organic could instantaneously download a $1 coupon good for any Rudi’s Organic product. The campaign garnered more than 13,000 “Likes” for the brand, as well as drove coupon downloads, signups for the brand’s enewsletter and helped Rudi’s Organic meet sales goals for the quarter.
