Sharon Linhart Named Board Member of Two Public Relations Industry Organizations
DENVER, Colo. Oct. 27, 2010 – Linhart Public Relations, a national public relations and corporate communications counseling firm based in Colorado, announced today that agency founder Sharon Linhart has been appointed to serve on two industry boards.
Linhart was named as a board member for the Council of PR Firms and the Americas Region of the Worldcom Public Relations Group.
The Council of PR Firms, which represents more than 100 of America’s leading public relations agencies, is focused on advancing the business of public relations by building the market and firms’ value as strategic business partners. Linhart is now among the 19 PR agency executives serving on the Council’s board of directors. Linhart PR has been a member of the Council of PR Firms for eight years.
Worldcom Public Relations Group is the world’s leading partnership of independently owned public relations counseling firms, with 107 offices in 95 cities worldwide. Linhart PR joined Worldcom in 2007. Linhart will serve on the group’s 13-member Americas Region board and lead the committee responsible for coordinating annual membership meetings.
