DENVER – Nov. 3, 2023 – Linhart Public Relations, a national communications strategy and engagement firm based in Colorado, is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Kelly Janhunen, vice president and partner, who joined the firm in November 2003.

Janhunen leads Linhart PR’s consumer PR and healthcare-related client work. Client relationships that she oversees include the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and its “Beef. It’s What’s for Dinner.” brand; Chocolove, the Boulder-based, nationally distributed premium Belgian-style chocolate brand; Cochlear, the life-changing technology for people with profound hearing loss; and Eagle Rock Ranch, raising high-quality beef and fostering sustainable practices at a family-owned ranch in Colorado.

In addition to overseeing client work, Janhunen also is responsible for supporting business development, hiring and professional development for the Linhart PR team, and helping to shape the distinct Linhart PR culture that has made the firm successful for more than 25 years. She became a partner in Linhart PR in 2009.

In her two decades with Linhart PR, Janhunen has led teams responsible for award-winning work for some of the firm’s largest clients, including Chipotle Mexican Grill, Noodles & Company, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, the Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s, Meyer Natural Foods and the Colorado Department of Transportation, among others. Linhart PR won two Public Relations Society of America Silver Anvil Awards, the top award for excellence in PR programming, for the firm’s work for Verlasso, a sustainable seafood brand, which she spearheaded.

A Massachusetts native, Janhunen is a graduate of Boston University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications. She joined Linhart PR after beginning her career in technology PR in Boston. She resides in the south Denver metro area with her husband and son and enjoys traveling with her family and supporting her son’s hockey team.
