Honors Include Chapter Service Award for Linhart PR Account Supervisor

DENVER, Sept. 1, 2022 – Linhart Public Relations, a national communications strategy and engagement firm based in Colorado, won five awards presented by the Colorado Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). The firm was recognized for its outstanding work supporting clients in the energy, premium food and beverage and restaurant industries. Account Supervisor Shannon Hughes was honored with the Chapter Service Award.

The PRSA Colorado Gold Pick Awards were presented at Denver Water’s headquarters campus. Since 1966, the Gold Picks have honored the region’s best work in public relations and are the state’s most prestigious awards program for Colorado public relations professionals.  

PRSA Colorado also presents individual awards during the annual ceremony, including the chapter’s Rendall Ayers Chapter Service Award, which recognizes an outstanding member for a high level of commitment to the Chapter through volunteer, board or committee work.

The 2022 award recognized Linhart PR Account Supervisor Shannon Hughes. Hughes joined Linhart PR in 2016 and supports clients in the energy, utilities and professional services industries. Hughes currently serves as 2022 PRSA Colorado Communications Committee Chair, where she leads promotion of all aspects of chapter membership, including events and programming, on the chapter’s website, social media channels and e-newsletters. She’s been a member of PRSA Colorado since 2016 and has previously served on the chapter’s Board Nominating Committee and Gold Pick Awards Committee. She’s a University of Denver graduate.

Linhart PR was honored for its work and results with Black Hills Energy, Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner, Chocolove and Chipotle Mexican Grill, receiving the following awards:
