MWH Constructors needed to equip project managers with proof of concept for the CMAR approach for municipalities and turned to Linhart PR to help showcase the benefits and results of a recent CMAR project – a renovated Water Pollution Control Center (WPCC) in Fremont, Ohio. The city’s mayor was so pleased with the project outcome and work with MWHC that he took it upon himself to draft a white paper about the CMAR approach.

Solution

Linhart PR reworked and expanded the white paper draft developed by the mayor to incorporate additional process details, advantages of the approach, best practices and project results that resulted in more than $5.5 million in  savings and project completion ahead of the deadline. Newly added expert insights highlighted how to successfully collaborate with partners and how to manage the contingency budget throughout the project. Linhart PR then distributed the white paper to select trade media to promote the project and CMAR delivery method.

Results

A single-issue white paper that MWHC leaders use for new business meetings and that helped secure three feature articles establishing the company’s CMAR expertise.

  • Secured three media placements-- a Construction Digest magazine cover story, Constructor magazine feature story, and a Water Innovations magazine feature story. *The CMAR project team brought a copy of the Construction Digest article to a prospect pitch meeting to showcase their experience and success with CMAR.
